<h2><strong>Activating Phone Numbers</strong></h2><ol><li>To Activate more of your assigned RingCentral phone numbers, start by selecting ‘Settings’ on the left side of the screen&nbsp;</li><li>Now Select ‘Numbers’&nbsp;</li><li>Your activated phone numbers will appear on the Numbers screen, to activate more select ‘Activate Numbers’&nbsp;</li><li>You will see a list of your RingCentral phone numbers that you are able to activate within Beetexting. Select the numbers you want to activate and select ‘Activate Selected Numbers’&nbsp;<ol><li>If you don’t see the phone number you are looking for, make sure that it is text enabled within RingCentral and that you are assigned to the number within RingCentral</li></ol></li><li>Your newly activated phone numbers should now be available within Beetexting. You can see them within Settings &gt; Numbers or by selecting the phone number selector in the top right hand corner of the main Beetexting screen&nbsp;</li></ol><h2><strong>Managing Phone Numbers</strong></h2><ol><li>To Manage your assigned RingCentral phone numbers within Beetexting, start by selecting ‘Settings’ on the left side of the screen (NOTE: Even if you have access to a number within Beetexting, you must be assigned to that number within RingCentral to manage it)</li><li>Now Select ‘Numbers’&nbsp;</li><li>Your activated phone numbers will appear here. By selecting ‘Manage’ next to any of your phone numbers you can add users, remove users, set your virtual business card, or deactivate the number from Beetexting&nbsp;</li></ol>

<h2><strong>Overview</strong></h2><p>Supercharge the SMS capabilities of your RingCentral phone numbers with Beetexting. We’ll cover the basic requirements for setting up your account, activating or managing your RingCentral phone numbers within Beetexting, and managing the users that have access to your Beetexting account. If you need additional help, you can always text our Customer Support team at (309)393-2026. &nbsp;</p><h3><strong>Requirements to Create a Beetexting Account and Logging In&nbsp;</strong></h3><ol><li>As a RingCentral user, you will always use the Log In or Sign Up with RingCentral Option.</li><li>In order to Create a Beetexting account that is integrated with your RingCentral Account, you must have an MVP Licensed RingCentral Account.</li><li>Your Beetexting account will be directly tied to your RingCentral account.<ul><li>&nbsp;Every time you log in to Beetexting, you will use your current RingCentral credentials.</li><li>If you cannot log in to your RingCentral account, you will not be able to log into Beetexting.</li></ul></li></ol><h3><strong>Requirements to Activate &amp; Manage your RingCentral phone numbers in Beetexting&nbsp;</strong></h3><ol><li>Beetexting allows you to activate your RingCentral phone numbers for additional SMS functionality. In order to Activate or Manage your RingCentral phone numbers within Beetexting, <strong>you must be assigned to that number within RingCentral</strong>.&nbsp;<ol><li>Company Numbers – You must be the Super Admin that created the RingCentral account, and the operator extension must be set to you</li><li>Direct Line – You must be assigned to that direct line&nbsp;</li><li>NOTE: Users that are not directly assigned to the number in RingCentral can be still be given access to that number within Beetexting, but they will not have admin level permissions over that particular phone number</li></ol></li><li>In order for any number to be activated within Beetexting, <strong>the number must be text enabled within RingCentral.&nbsp;</strong>If you cannot text with your RingCentral number, start here: <a href="https://support.ringcentral.com/article/Unable-to-Send-SMS.html">Unable to Send SMS (ringcentral.com)</a></li><li>Instructions to <a href="https://beetexting.com/how-to-activate-manage-ringcentral-phone-numbers-in-beetexting/">Activate and Manage your Numbers</a></li></ol><h3><strong>Requirements to Add &amp; Manage Users on Beetexting&nbsp;</strong></h3><ol><li>There are three main requirements that determine if your RingCentral teammates will be available to be invited into Beetexting<ol><li>All users must have a RingCentral account with access to the RingCentral MVP product.</li><li>Users must have an email associated and e-mail uniqueness is verified within their RingCentral account.</li><li>Users must have an "enabled" status (you can find this within the User Details section within your RingCentral Admin portal).</li></ol></li><li>Current RingCentral users will be available to invite within the Users section of Beetexting&nbsp;</li><li>If a user is not assigned to a phone number within RingCentral, they cannot activate it within Beetexting. <p>Welcome to your Beetexting trial! We're excited to show you all the ways you can use Beetexting to communicate intentionally with your customers and sales leads. Text Your Beetexting Number</strong></h4><p>Start by just getting a feel for how Beetexting works. The most basic feature is simple one-to-one messaging.</p><ul><li>To begin, simply send a message from your personal number to your new Beetexting number. (For non-RingCentral Customers: While you cannot initiate a text conversation from your Beetexting number until your business verification is complete you can reply to people who initiate a conversation with you first.)</li><li>Open the <a href="https://app.beetexting.com/">Beetexting app</a> on your desktop computer.</li><li>You'll notice a small red notification hovering over messages in the upper left corner of the screen. That's your message!</li><li>Select Conversations in order to view your messages.</li><li>Your unread message will be in bold.</li><li>Select your message and check out everything you can do with inbound messages:<ul><li>Update the contact profile on the right - add a name, tags, change information, add notes etc.</li><li>Select the "actions" button at the top of your message to transfer a message to a team member, archive messages, unclaim, and/or export.</li><li>Below your message there is another set of features - attachments, emojis, gifs, internal notes, templates, message scheduling, request payment, request review, send your vcard, send a health screening.</li></ul></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><figure class="media"><div data-oembed-url="https://youtu.be/elkc90RLZX4"><div style="position: relative; padding-bottom: 100%; height: 0; padding-bottom: 56.2493%;"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/elkc90RLZX4" style="position: absolute; width: 100%; height: 100%; top: 0; left: 0;" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div></div></figure><h4><strong>2. Text Your Personal Number</strong></h4><p>Now that you've tested out texting your personal number from your Beetexting number it's time to reply to your personal number from your Beetexting number.</p><ul><li>Open the <a href="https://app.beetexting.com/">Beetexting app</a> on your desktop computer.</li><li>Simply reply from your Beetexting number to the text message you sent from your personal number.</li><li>Use the text box at the bottom of your conversation to write your message.</li><li>Compose a message - take this opportunity to try out adding a GIF and/or emoji.</li><li>Once your message is ready select send.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><figure class="media"><div data-oembed-url="https://youtu.be/lu-50B8snbk"><div style="position: relative; padding-bottom: 100%; height: 0; padding-bottom: 56.2493%;"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lu-50B8snbk" style="position: absolute; width: 100%; height: 100%; top: 0; left: 0;" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div></div></figure><h4><strong>3. Add Yourself as a Contact</strong></h4><p>Now that you've tested out the one-on-one messaging it's time to create a contact.</p><ul><li>Open the <a href="https://app.beetexting.com/">Beetexting app</a> on your desktop computer.</li><li>Select contacts in the upper row located to the right of conversations.</li><li>Select the plus sign icon to create a new contact.</li><li>Add your own personal information to see how this works.<ul><li>Note: towards the bottom, the form asks you to add tags. Tags are words used to describe your contacts so you can identify groups of common contacts for sending mass messages. We'll cover tags in another section. For now, feel free to leave tags blank to add the word "trial".</li></ul></li><li>Once you've filled in the information, select "create contact"</li><li>Now that you've created a contact every time you interact with this contact their profile information will appear on the right side.</li><li>Great work! You added your personal contact information as a contact.</li></ul>
